Dressing Up Your Tables - The Eco-Friendly Way!

First impressions are everything - when setting your tables for your reception this Summer think eco-friendly. Here are a few tips:

1. Set your tables with reusable stylish plates of the color scheme of your wedding. Top the table off with a low floral arrangement of seasonal organic blooms that can be given away after the party.

2. Rather than setting out place cards for each setting, set up a seating chart at the entrance of the room that directs your guest to their tables. Here is where you put your design skills to play.

3. Table numbers at each table don't necessary have to be numbers, be creative and work up phrases of your favorite travel places, if in a garden setting - names of your favorite flowers, if on the beach, name of sea birds.

4. Cut down on the number of menu cards you print up. Display one - two menu cards per table, rather than one at each setting.

5. If you are planning to set out wedding favors at each setting, be sure they tie in with your decor and that they are eco-friendly wedding favors.
