3. Lock in your stylist with a deposit. The only way to secure someone good for certain is with a deposit. Try and do the trial run prior if you can ... but if you know the work or if they came highly recomended ... book the artist.

4. Begin a skin care regiment and stick to it. Lip moisturizers and repair sticks are great to get your lips in shape for a flawless finish. Try not to have a facial within a few weeks prior to the wedding. More often than not, you will have a slight breakout shortly after the service.

5. Have any waxing done 3 to 4 days prior to the wedding day. Make sure they remove all the wax carefully. I have had to take the sheen off day of ... not fun for the bride.

6. Refresh your hair color a week prior ... and try not to wash your hair the day of, unless it get oily ... let it go. It will stay in much better that way ... your stylist will thank you.

7. Take time for yourself ladies, quiet time is important to re-group. Your stylist is there to calm you and make sure you are looking your best. They are usually the last person you deal with before you hop into your dress and walk down the aisle. Chose wisely, and have fun.

Congrats and good luck with your plans.

Wedding Enchantment

By Reverend Richleigh H. Powers

revpowers.comThe question of pre-marital counseling or coaching as I prefer , is an important one. Most couples, if given a choice, will choose not to have counseling. Perhaps they feel it's unnecessary because they think they've already talked through all of the issues that could trouble their marriage. Or perhaps they're so caught up in the romance and excitement of their relationship that they can't conceive of anything ever coming between them.

Going to a counselor who will ask questions and stimulate discussion about "personal" matters may then seem intrusive and a waste of time. And if it's a counselor who is also a clergy person, it may feel even more threatening if their experience of "religion" or clergy has not been positive in the past. Read More
