Tips from the Experts By Joan Whalen
When a bride is quoted a price for a
complete 3-4 course dinner and she doesn't
understand why that particular dinner
should be so high (i.e. chicken dinner $60.00).
It is not the food product that costs that
much but rather the production,
labor and overhead to put everything
together including equipment etc.
Food cost usually is about 15-20% of total
cost - balance is overhead.
Wedding Floral Choices By Wedding Connections Discuss floral options with your florist,
to determine the best flowers for your style, theme, mood, color,
budget and personal preference.
Prior to contacting your florist, select your gown, bridesmaids'
dresses and the color scheme of your wedding.
Gather color swatches or textures of the
gowns and gentlemen's' attire to show your florist.
The florist should be able to suggest floral
combinations and different methods of arrangement to create
florals that will compliment your wedding scheme.
