“Band or DJ?” The answer is another question: “Why not both?” Bands are more popular and more affordable than ever, especially in these economic times. One “Bride Blogger” wrote: “I think a band is actually better than DJ because it's more personal. And those not wanting to dance get to watch and enjoy the band.” Some bands will include a DJ at no additional charge—a sure cure for “The Recession Blues”. Then you have the best of both worlds. But whether band, DJ or both, don’t skimp on the music. It encompasses the ENTIRE wedding and is the “insurance” for all the other money spent.
