Wedding Day Emergency Kit

"Stress free day"

By: By Wedding Connections

Every Bridal Couple will find that a wedding day emergency kit may come
in handy for a stress free day.

Do you have a friend or family member that would like to help you out in
someway and you just don't know what to ask them to help you with?

Preparing a wedding day emergency kit would be just the thing that may save the day! You have enough on your to-do list already, so why not get someone to
help you out.

Ok…so get them started by finding a place to store the goods, like an accordion folder, purse with pockets, plastic toolbox or sewing basket. What ever you decide on, make sure it is something durable that will withstand multiple handlers. It wouldn’t be a bad ideal to prepare two kits – one for her and one for him!

Fill them with some or all of the following:

BRIDES KIT:

Accessories for the FEMALE members of the bridal party (wedding coordinator or designated member of your family or bridal party) that can be the responsible person to care for this kit during the big day.

Freshen up: Lipstick, lip liner, lip balm, face powder and
makeup brush/sponge, mascara, concealer, make-up remover, Q-tips, cotton balls, emory boards, nail polish remover, hand lotion, nail glue, nail wraps and tips, nail polish (clear, nude, french manicure), curling iron, hair spray, sculpting gel, comb/hair brush, tissues, blotting papers, Mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, tampons, sanitary napkins, perfume, and breath mints, Extras: stockings (nude), hair /bobby pins, static guard spray, lint brush, stain remover, & club soda is great for getting out stains!

Sewing Kit: White thread and a couple sewing needles (pack a few colors that are of color of wardrobe selection for the big day) buttons, safety pins, glue sticks, super glue and a glue gun, double sided tape, masking tape and duck tape.

First Aid: Aspirin/Tylenol, ice pack, smelling salts, wet hand wipes, and cough drops, band-aids, medical tape, antibacterial solutions, sunscreen, matches/lighter and eye drops.

Just incase: pocket change (coins for phone, parking meter, soda vending machine etc.), cell phone and list of phone numbers for important people in the wedding party and a list of all your vendors cell phone numbers. Waterproof your checklist and keep it handy for quick reference. If there is a potential for rain - bring an umbrella. And have a few handy for those you may forget to bring one. And it wouldn’t hurt to throw in a few snacks.

GROOM’S KIT

Accessories for MALE members of the wedding party (bestman or designated member of the family or bridal party) that can be
the responsible person to care for this kit during the big day)
