A Little Luck on St. Patrick's Day
By: WeddingConnections.com
- Have bag pipe musicians play for your ceremony
and Irish dancers perform at your wedding reception. Better yet why
not have the bridal couple ....yes you, dance to an Irish tune.
- Leave the church in a different direction for which
you arrived, as a symbol of the new direction in your lives.
- Like many other cultures bread plays an important
role in the Celtic ceremony. Bread is broken over the couples head
to ensure prosperity and the crumbs are gathered by the single guests
as a "good luck" token - that they might find their ideal
mate in the future.
- Consider a signature drink like a traditional
Irish Shandy. Very simply to stir-up, 1/2 beer, 1/2 lemonade and serve
it green. Don't forget the the Irish Wedding Toast.
- Have an Irish parade of native Irish flowers incorporated
in your flower arrangements.
