Among the many decisions a couple makes in
regard to their wedding, two or three stand out in memories.
The work of a photographer will outlast the couple. The DJ and /or
musicians serve to pleasantly blend together the wedding day events.
And, an officiant is one of the more noticeable participants.
You will not long remember the reception meal. And, one well chosen site
is similar to another. However, you, the family and the guests will
catch the spirit set by an officiant. All will notice the sound quality
of the ceremony, his grasp of names and planned procedure, and the
romantic and even humorous tone an officiant sets. Tears and laughter
will outlast the photographs!
Meet with the officiant, determine if a level of comfort is there. Check
out his references. Perhaps, even view one of his weddings. Concerning
fees, avoid both the least and the most expensive. A poster on a dentist's waiting room wall is well stated: "Don't buy bargains in parachutes or dentists!" Perhaps that is true also in wedding vendors.
